In the early 1960s, a classically trained homeopath named Norma Rowan Harman was running a mobile clinic in South Africa. In 1968, Norma and her fellow practitioner Ghiradhlal began pre-mixing complementary homeopathic remedies and organ preparations into targeted blends. The work spread to Mauritius and then India, where she became known as Swami Narayani. In 1989, she received the Albert Schweitzer Award for Humanitarian Work. Swami Narayani passed away in 1995. Her foundation preserved her notes and the system has continued to grow into one of the most comprehensive combination systems in homeopathic practice.
